For a while now I have been hoping and praying for a way to go live on the east coast; an internship, graduate school, just anything! I love Utah and am so grateful to be close to family but we are ready for an adventure. Over the past couple weeks McKay has been applying to internships all over the place. His program encourages them to get multiple internships while in school to build their experience but also to test what it is that really interests them. This last Monday he interviewed with a company and then later that day they offered the internship to him for this coming Fall semester! We were both so excited but needed to see if it was possible to work everything out. After a couple days of praying, thinking and talking to some people we decided this is what we have been wanting and waiting for. So we will be moving to New Jersey at the end of August for McKay to intern at Ethicon.
It will be an adventure for sure! We can't wait to see who we will meet, what we will learn and the memories we will make. I'm just trying not to stress about all the little details, my planner side of me is dying. But I know it will all work out like it's supposed to. So anyone want to come see us this fall in New Jersey? We would love visitors!
