Fun Times with Aunt Kris

Kristen, McKay's little sister, came to visit for the weekend. We had a blast touring the sites around us. We successfully wore her out :) I have discovered that I really enjoy doing research and planning out vacations. I could totally be a travel agent! 

We got to spend time in Philadelphia, two days in New York City and then spent time around where we live in New Jersey. It is always fun having visitors come and stay! 

Some highlights of the trip include:

-An elvis impersonator scaring me in Times Square

-Picnic on the Brooklyn Bridge
-Lewis entertaining everyone around us on the subway by playing peek-a-boo behind the pole
-Running to try and make the Staten Island Ferry but getting there just a few minutes late 

-Having a homeless man help us parallel park in Philadelphia (he then asked for a tip haha)
-The little girl who was climbing all over the Alice in Wonderland statue while people were trying to take pictures with it

-A guy giving McKay a thumbs up and then pointing at Lewis (like good job on your child or something? We think he was drunk)

-Riding in the Toy Story car on the Ferris wheel inside Toys R' Us

-Lewis' wet diaper leaking all over McKay while we were at the Sculpture Garden. I turned to see it trickling off Lewis' sock. So gross. But Kristen and I had a good laugh about it

-Eating so much delicious food! 

-Making our own characters at the Lego store 

-Max Brenner's chocolate fondue with churros (seriously check out this place next time you visit the city)
-Driving Kristen to the airport at 3:00am for her return flight during a rain storm
